Collecting stories? How about orally … and digitally?  Edmonton Public library has a kit for you can borrow!  Canada 150 digital storytelling kit:  EPL’s Canada 150 Digital Storytelling Project will inspire Edmonton’s diverse communities to reflect on and preserve stories of the people, places and events that have shaped our country for the past 150 years. These digital storytelling kits, made possible by the Community Foundation Grant, will enable community members to create digital stories. The kits include recording equipment and resources to support programs in the library and in the community. See: EPL Digital Story Kit.

German Canadian Association of Alberta (GCAA) in existence since 1966, is the provincial umbrella organization for Alberta’s many clubs, choirs, dance and performing arts and cultural groups, and language schools, which have ties to the various German-speaking groups in this province.  HSGPV has participated in Edmonton Heritage Days-German Pavilion, organized by GCAA.
